2026-02-21      FAMILY FUN DAY from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

                                Island Hill Farm, Hampshire - 351 – Route 225

Join us for a fun-filled Family Fun Day at Island Hill Farm — the cutest place on earth!

Farmer Flory invites all Veterans and their extended families to come meet the farm’s friendly animals — goats, alpacas, bunnies, sheep and more — and enjoy a truly hands-on experience with them throughout the morning.  Flory is providing a 25% discount on admission at only $15 per person.

Activities include:

• Exploring the scenic farm — great for all ages and perfect for family photos

• Snowshoeing on farm trails (bring your own snowshoes if you have them)

• Tobogganing fun — bring your own sled and enjoy the hill

• Visiting all the adorable animals and learning about farm life

2026-01-04     OBITUARY for Regno. 18970, Ret'd. Sgt. Miles Earle Foster

                              Years of Service: 1955 - 1995, Postings: "H" and "L" Divisions

                              DOB:  May 20, 1936 ~ DOD:  January 4, 2026


Obituary and Condolences.  

Surrounded by the love of his family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of Miles Earle Foster occurred on January 4, 2026 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 89 years. Miles was predeceased by his wife, Joan (McKay).

Miles was born on May 20, 1936 to the late Miles Adam Foster and Annie (Campbell).

Miles will be dearly missed by his loving daughter, Leanna (Bill) Wiltshire and daughter-in-law Phyllis Foster.

He leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Sarah (Kyle) Boudreau, Samantha (Dan) Follett, William Ravenhill and Thomas Ravenhill, as well as his great-grandchildren, Myles Jeffrey Boudreau, Bennett George Boudreau and Levi Follett.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Miles was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Miles, siblings Burton (Shirley) (Alice), Merlin (Betty), Harold, Kenneth (Muriel), Elva (Gordon) Holt, Camela (Sonny) Johnson.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where funeral service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Miles may be made to RCMP Veterans Association Foundation.

Remembered with respect and gratitude for his service.
