2026-10-19   Annual General Meeting

The AGM will be held on Thursday, November 19th, 2026 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 99 Pownal St., Charlottetown at 6:30 PM.  Matters of interest will be posted in the coming days.

2026-10-19  Election of New Executive

Dear members of the PEI Division RCMP Veterans Association,

As Past-President, it is my responsibility each year at this time to canvass the Executive to determine if we have any vacant positions that will need to be filled. This coming year, 2027, we will need new candidates in the following positions:

Secretary - the secretary keeps all minutes of the meetings, shares this and other information amongst the membership and acts as a liaison between the members and the Executive. The term of this position is generally for two years, but can go as long as the individual wishes to serve. 

First Vice President - The 1st VP Acts in place of the President in his/her absence and is willing, after serving a two-year term, to consider accepting the role as President.

The position of Treasurer will continue to be filled by Randy Robar.

Positions not on the Executive, but that form part of the membership, remain status quo:

Entertainment Director - Scott Ferris - 

Advocate - Rick Chadwick - but please note, Rick is open to having someone else step in or to begin working with someone who would like to take on this role. 

Membership - Ernie MacAulay

County Directors - remain the same. 

Members, we need you to step forward to help fill empty positions. Our Association needs your engagement and your support. Please reach out to me to put your name forward for any open position, or to advise me if you would like to mentor in a position for the future.
